Alun was able to set up his laptop in a position that enabled his mobile to provide  Internet access. He stared off with a hand out and explained his intention was to  provide an insight and understanding of luminosity masks and then demonstrate their use using samples of RAW unedited images provided by the members. He explained that he was using Lightroom and Photoshop but realised there was a basic read across to other processing software. He also hoped to demonstrate the TK9 plugin.

Alun’s opening explanation of masks was very thorough and then reinforced practically with many of the members images demonstrating the range, uses and techniques of masks. At the end of the workshop Alun attempted to show the TK9 plugin but it was less successful since the laptop monitor was too small to allow the panels to be shown together.

It was an excellent workshop and we all greatly appreciated the effort, guidance and manner in which he put it across. Thank you so much Alun.
