The morning started with heavy rain, but by the time we arrived at the Reserve the rain had stopped but blustery winds remained.
Six hardy Snappers ventured around this patchwork of flowery grassland, scrub and woodland in the hope of capturing something of nature. Of course, Red Kites could be heard screeching in the woodlands but even they seemed reluctant to take flight in this wind. Thanks to the members who turned out on this windy, overcast day and special thanks to Jan Dell for contributing the image to accompany the post.
