Last night was the first of our Competitions for the 25-26 season. We would encourage all members to get-involved in the club’s internal competitions. We can all learn so much more about photography by listening to a judge’s comments and critique of an image.
The judge for the evening was Keith Stoneman form Wokingham, and after much deliberation gave us his final results. In the Laurie Stevens ‘Landscape’ Trophy competition Print section, David Gibbs secured first place and judges’ choice with his ‘Nightfall over the Cumbrian Hills’ image. In the PDI section, Godfrey Clements’s ‘Evening Light at Dunstanburgh Castle’ scooped the winning spot.
In the Aggregate Round 1 Open Competition the winning PDI image and judges’ choice went to Caroline Petch with her ‘Mischief on the Move’ image.
