Last night was the first of our Competitions for the 24-25 season. This season we are combining the Trophy Competitions with the Aggregate Round Competitions, in the hope more members might participate. We would encourage all members to get-involved. We can all learn so much more about photography by listening to a judge’s comments and critique of an image.
After much deliberation, the judge for the evening Alan Taberer, gave us his final results. In the Laurie Stevens ‘Landscape’ Trophy competition Print section, John Culling secured fist place and judges’ choice with his ‘Bualintur – Skye’ image. In the PDI section, Alun Morgan’s ‘The Slow River’ scooped the winning spot.
In the Aggregate Round 1 Open Competition the winning PDI image and judges’ choice went to Mike Ward with his ‘Young Sparrow Hawk’ image.
