It was an evening of returning previous members. Rob Friel, a past Chairman, was welcomed back as the Judge for the evening and we also extended a welcome to David Flint who was a member many years ago and returned to see the current club in action. The Brian Harman Action competition was judged as 2 parts: firstly prints and then the projected images. Following the break the Aggregate was judged as an Open competition. There was a total of 35 entries.

The results were:

For Action Prints, the Judges Choice was “Emerging Victorious” by Caroline Petch. Also two images were awarded Highly Commended and two images Commended.

For the Action PDI, the Judges Choice was “Running the Trail” by Phil Cook. There were 2 images awarded Highly Commended and 2 images Commended.

In the Aggregate the Judges Choice went to “Skating Trio” by Bernard Foot and 2 images were awarded Highly Commended and 2 Commended.

The Judge remarked on the high standard and variety of images making it challenging for him. We were pleased to see Rob again and valued his comments and critiques. Thanks to everyone who took part and helped make the evening successful.

Well done to our winners; Caroline, Phil and Bernard and in particular to Phil who only joined the club this season and made his first win – a great achievement.
