Every year we try and visit a location where bluebells are on display. This year we chose Dockey Wood part of the Ashridge Estates and we were not disappointed.
Bluebells look their best in bright sunlight but at first the weather was dry but overcast and did not do justice to the Bluebells. Fortunately, the sun soon broke through the branches of the trees and brought out the best in the Bluebells. Members were able to take advantage of the opportunity and took some decent images.
After spending an hour at Dockey Wood, we moved on to the Bridgewater Monument in Ashridge itself where we walked into the forest to photograph the various trees and other beautiful woodland scenery.
It was a good morning and thanks to our members who have each contributed a couple of their images which can be seen in the gallery below.
