This was the penultimate trophy competitions of the season and it was disappointing to see so few images in the print section. Collectively we had 30 images for the judge to view 23 (PDI’s) and just 7 prints
Colin Mill, from Milton Keynes was our judge for the evening and with his good humour and expert critique reviewed all the images and gave sound advice on how he thought many of the images could be improved.
The winner on the night with Judges’ Choice for the print section was Stuart Feurtado with his image ‘Riding the Waves’. Judges Choice for the PDI section was ‘Kingfisher fishing’ by Caroline Petch.
A further 11 images from all the entries were awarded Highly Commended and Commended status.
So, congratulations to Stuart and Caroline on their success and to all the members who submitted images for this competition.
