Monday evening was the Wainwright ‘Natural History’ competition and the fourth round of the Aggregate competition. The Trophy round was in two sections – Prints and PDIs with the Aggregate round being an Open category competition.
Our judge, Peter Cox had kindly stepped in at the last minute for the evening and took on the challenge. His comments were detailed, measured, encouraging and instructive. We thank Peter very much for keeping the evening interesting and informative.
The winner on the night with Judges’ Choice for the Print section was Caroline Petch with her image ‘Mr Jay Enjoying a Snack’. Judges’ Choice from the PDI section was ‘Snowdrop’ by John Culling. Seven other entries were awarded Highly Commended and Commended status.

We then got underway with the Aggregate Round 4 competition and here the Judge’s Choice was awarded to Barry Coxon for his image ‘Empty Condiment’. Six other images were awarded Highly Commended and Commended status.

So, congratulations to Caroline, John and Barry on their success and to all the members who submitted images for this competition.
