Last night was the final competition of the season – The Albert Rigby Memorial Competition. A total of 49 images were entered for review. These were made up of 17 Prints and 32 Projected Digital Images (PDI’s).
Our judge for the evening was Michael Lurie whose critique was conducted with kind positive words and humour, appraising each image thoroughly and giving all members ways to improve their work. After much consideration by the judge the final results were announced.
The winner on the night with Judges’ Choice for the print section was Mike Ward with his print ‘Polar View of Bullring Frontage’.
Judges Choice for the PDI section with his triptych image ‘Nigella (Love in the Mist)’ was Peter Parrey.
So, our congratulations to Mike and Peter for their successes.
