14-April 25 – Brian Harman Trophy and Aggregate Round 5 Competitions

This evening, we gave a warm welcome to Patrick Seehanach, a new CACC Judge, for his first visit to PRPS. His challenge this evening was to judge our Brian Harman “Action” Trophy competition which was in two parts – Prints and PDIs – and followed by the Aggregate Round 5 competition in the Open Category.

Patrick’s comments were astute, thorough and instructive. He also gave us the benefit of some of his personal views, experiences and anecdotes. It was an interesting evening and we thank Patrick very much for his efforts and making the evening a success.

The winner of the Judges Choice for the Brian Harman Print section was David Gibbs with his image “First Wicket of the Day” and in the PDI section Caroline Petch with her image “Heron on the move”. There were 7 other images awarded Highly Commended or Commended.

After Tea Break, we had the Aggregate Round 5 competition in which the Judges Choice was awarded to David Gibbs with his image “Moorhen meets Common Pond Skater. Six other images were awarded Highly Commended or Commended.
